Plants release water vapor as part of their photosynthetic and respiratory processes. This increases the humidity of the air around them. Humidified air decreases the incidence of dryness of the skin, nose, throat, and lips. It also eases some of the symptoms caused by the flu or common cold. Houseplants also decrease the ambient temperature in a room. 

3. Plants Clean indoor air by absorbing toxins. 

Plants make the best natural air purifiers. They reduce the levels of certain toxins and pollutants from the air like formaldehyde, benzene, trichloroethylene, and nitrogen dioxide. These pollutants can be found in everyday products such as cigarette smoke, rugs, inks, solvents, and paint. Spider Plant, Aloe Vera, Snake Plant, Peace Lily, Chrysanthemum, and Bamboo Palm are some of the best indoor plants to purify the air. 

4. Improving Health and focus

Studies have shown that plants speed up the recovery rate of patients, improve tolerance to pain, lower heart rate, and blood pressure. In the work and home environment, they can reduce headaches, stress, fatigue, and anxiety and even help with sore throats, coughs, and colds. They have even been found to improve attentiveness. Some plants like eucalyptus can help clear respiratory congestion. Adding potted plants to your living room in an apartment or in a luxury villa will definitely improve both health and productivity.

 It isn’t uncommon to see fruit and vegetable plants growing in people’s villas in Goa. They have an ornamental appeal and ensure that you have organically grown, pesticide-free healthy produce at your fingertips.
