Upscale, upcoming areas ideal for property investment

Post-pandemic Goa saw a lot more filmmakers, artists, photographers and remote workers come down for a change of location. Goa’s ambience and natural beauty made it an attractive location to work from. People were looking to settle and work from not only the busy city of Panjim, but also the quieter corners of Goa. This sudden influx of people moving to the state has now pushed the property prices higher and they’re bound to continue increasing in the near future. If you are someone looking to invest in properties in Goa, the best time is now. Apart from the return on propertyinvestment, you will love the other benefits Goa has to offer – its geography, lack of crowds and the laidback Goan lifestyle.

Reasons to invest in villas in Goa

The pandemic has made everyone realise the need for space and the damage that overcrowding in a city can do. Staying indoors has reinforced the need for a home in a location with fresh, clean air and greenery. Goa is still pretty sparsely populated, enveloped in nature and a lot of its villages offer peace and quiet. Finding a home in a location that can offer these aspects could be a dream come true for many. At Kasu, our homes are all located in locations that are tucked away in popular locations – away from traffic and business, yet close enough to the most happening restaurants, schools, markets and more.

Upcoming areas in Goa for property investment

While a luxury villa in Goa is what most people dream of, you can consider investing in a premium apartment located in a gated community, too. While a villa would offer you the space and privacy you might like for your family, apartments offer the benefits of living among a community of like-minded people and families. So if you’re considering investing in upscale, upcoming properties in Goa to be your forever home, here are some villages you should consider

Assagao

Assagao is a scenic village that directly connects to the busy town of Mapusa. The village is known for its Goan homes and pretty winding lanes. It’s also been a hub for some of the most popular restaurants and cafes such as Kefi, Gunpowder, Babka, Barsa, Vinayak and so on and is a preferred destination for many recreational events. Moreover it’s well-connected to Anjuna, Vagator and Parra while being far away from their chaos. It offers the ideal quiet life right in the lap of one of the most happening parts of Goa. One of Kasu’s finest projects – Kasu Vana is located here.

Anjuna

Anjuna is another popular corner of Goa. Its proximity to the more private Anjuna beach has made it one of the most preferred locations to buy property in Goa. It’s home to a handful of wonderful restaurants and bars offering a wide variety of cuisines ranging from Japanese to Greek, local Goan delicacies and so much more. Along with that Anjuna is growing as a hotspot for coworking spaces and is a frequent haunt for a lot of digital nomads. If you’re someone planning to work from home, start your business or freelance, this could be an ideal location to settle down. Anjuna also offers a lot of fun recreational opportunities in the form of water sports and waterparks. Take a look at our luxury property in Anjuna – Kasu Zama.

Reis Magos

Reis Magos is a small village on the bank of the river Mandovi. It boasts of not just a lovely fort but also a magnificent view of the river and Panjim city. Anyone owning a villa there is just lucky to be privy to it. Apart from the view, Reis Magos also offers the benefit of being close to Panjim city and Porvorim, two of the more commercially active parts of Goa. At the same time, you get the quiet of village life.

Parra

Parra is a pristine, scenic slice of Goa, located about 3 kms from Mapusa. It finds itself in one of Goa’s quiet corners, but is well-connected to Calangute, Anjuna and Baga. Parra’s roads open into large fields and meadows and the village can be pretty mesmerising, especially with a view of sunsets. While being placed snugly in nature’s arms, it’s located just a stone’s throw away from one of the trendiest parts of Goa, close to some great restaurants, spas, boutiques, cafes and even beaches.

Morjim

Morjim is located farther up north. It’s almost 14 kms away from Mapusa and about 30 kms from Panjim. What makes it beautiful is its location, on the northern bank of the Chapora river estuary. It’s well-known for being a home to the Olive Ridley Sea Turtles, an endangered species of turtles that come to the shores to nest and hatch. Morjim is much more private than most beaches in North Goa and spreads over almost 3 kms. Apart from that, its proximity to Ashvem, Mandrem and Arambol makes it an ideal location to have a home in. Morjim sits far from the madding crowd, in a world of its own. The beach is quieter, bigger and can make for a great getaway at any time of the day.

Apart from its beautiful villages, Goa’s general culture is very laid back. You don’t have to rush anywhere or overwork yourself to get things done. You’ll find that most Goans have managed to strike the perfect balance between their work and personal lives. Neither overwhelms the other. Added to this, Goa’s still mostly just villages that can offer a sense of community and nature’s company to not just adults but kids as well. Instead of spending lives cooped up indoors, you can be with nature away from the chaos of the urban life and the concrete jungles. Maybe it’s time to make Goa your forever home instead of just a vacation destination.
